Poetry is a means of communication of feelings one person wants to share with one other or many about life issues.

The words can annouce love compassion caring understanding acceotance belief or simply ones thoughts on events that happen in this great big world of ours.

By reaching out to others in whatever way we can, we are able to conclude that many many people on Earth are in search of the same things ...

Peace happiness and togetherness ... and that can begin with that one special person outside of our immediate family and continue to expand across the plains to include every living being in our world.

Once we begin with this step towards unity the peace happiness and togetherness we gain throughout our journey will be seen on every face we meet with along our chosen path.

Then we will know that we have achieved what we began ~ with that first reaching towards another being not of our blood and understand how love really does make the world shine.

I have always had a yen for the written word and started to write my own poetry early in life.

I find poetry a wonderful means of self expression and enjoy working with words to bring forth my own individual way of portrayal.

A poem, as with any written form is so unique because to each reader their own imagination creates a picture of those words and allows for that reader to be creative in their own mind.

We do, after all, perceive things differently ... as we are all unique individuals ...
